PHOENIX, AZ – After hitting the East, South and Midwest on the “Summer Sessions” tour, the self proclaimed “teacher/rapper/hero” Random, aka Mega Ran is showing the West Coast love on the very patriotic themed “Campaign Tour” this October.
Starting in Phoenix, Mega Ran and his super rap friends will head through California, Oregon, Washington, and back down through Las Vegas before returning to Phoenix. Billed as “A Name You Can Trust,” the tour promises to bring the fun, high energy and honesty to be associated with a Mega Ran show; with some surprises, of course.
Joining Mega Ran on “The Campaign Tour” are DJ DN3, Ran’s producer and mixing engineer since 2006, Phoenix up and comer Mouse Powell, and rap collective Writers Guild member Mr. Miranda – who co-starred with Ran on 2011’s critically acclaimed album “The Memorandum.” Ran and Mouse are also releasing an EP called “MegaMouse” to commemorate the tour experience.
“This is my turn to give back,” Ran says. When I was coming up, I was fortunate to catch the ear of dope musicians who gave me a chance, and so when I hear acts that I want the world to know about, I do my part to introduce them. It’s the only way I know.”
The Campaign Tour even offers something for the absentee ballots: The October 6th show will be broadcast live from the headquarters of TwitchTV, today’s leading livestream network.

Mega Ran turned heads in the rap and gaming worlds by being the only artist licensed by Capcom. His combo of humor and hope has garnered rave reviews all over the world. The Campaign Tour is Ran’s 4th major US tour this year, and will be followed by a tour of Japan in November.
