Appetite 85 is European-American synthpop inspired by the 80s. 

The Appetite 85 – EP has four songs that were started in 2016 in Valencia, Spain and finished in 2019 in Kansas, USA.  Retro synths, electronic snare, guitar solo and alluring vocals give it an 80s sound. Tears for Fears, The Fixx, Thomas Dolby, Prefab Sprout and Gene Loves Jezebel were inspirations.  

The songwriter, performer and producer of Appetite 85 is Chris Bihuniak. He was born in Panama and has lived in Brazil, Austria, Spain and the USA. He has a history of recording since 1985 and has produced 15 studio albums. As an independent artist, he has awards from ASCAP, International Songwriting Competition, Parents Choice, Teachers Choice and Dr. Toy.  

The name Appetite 85 refers to the song “Appetite” by Prefab Sprout which was released in 1985.  It’s also the year that Chris met his wife, Meridith.
