One of Durham North Carolina’s own, having opened for Jim Jones, Ludacris, Loyd Banks, Lloyd, T-Pain, Method Man, Sheek Louch and worked with artists like DJ Don Cannon, DJ Khaled and many more, J Rosevelt represents a brand new voice of Hip-Hop music. An educated student of the Hip-Hop game, J Rosevelt used the influence of his favorite artists to develop his own versatile flow. The outcome? A compilation of talents that include speedy, rapid-fire flow, intricate wordplay, thought out New York style punchlines with a Carolina twist, the ability to sing vast ranges in different octaves (with or without auto-tune) whether belting out a grungy rock-edged lyrics or smooth melodic R&B style chorus, and a song writing ability that is multi-genre and cross-appealing.
